Oh Father, please hear my plaintive cry
You who sees everything from up above
Please accept this resignation of mine
From this mundane life I have been in
I have no respite from the souls around
Neither any desire to change this world
I only wish for a moment of clear thought
Of no sickening visions of ingratitude
My mind is weeping and my heart heavy
For I can do no more than contemplate
What can be done to make things straight
So much has been forgotten, and ignored
Of the way you taught us to live life
And yet here we are, in the same state
Running around wishing we were free.
Bless me O Father and forgive my sins
For I no longer care to regret my fate
I have to see the light beyond this day
And I know the only person who can help
Is You and You alone, so help me God...
