Two dead crows along the side road
Two today, and one the day before
What mystic rites to be said for the
Appeasement of these birds' soul
Upon close inspection do you see
Reasons of a strange electrocution
They had no choice, they did sit
On the wrong wire of their destiny
Of course there shall be no loss
For the general humanity concerned
No one shall mourn for salvation
And these birds will be forgotten
So many live and so many die a day
The turning of the nature's wheel
If one goes, another shall replace
Their presence is taken for granted
What lesson can their lives offer
Other than the continuity of death
What does not die, passes on from
One crow to another, and another
Two dead crows, somewhere far away
The world has moved on, so have I
It matters not anymore of the birds
Life is a whole, being dead or alive
