Silence borne out of the lapse of desire
The freedom cry and the anguish of life
Within these limits we set for ourselves
Is found the awakening of the unlimited
For long has this burden been salvaged
Arising from the forgetful nature of man
These tears run dry, yet we keep crying
When everything and everybody hurts
Is there a need for this suffering to last?
By which we can ignore the higher Voice
Of reason, commonsense and pure love
The darkness keeps the divinity hidden
Until mere slaves, we refuse to live as
Shackled to every whim, fancy and fear
That the world throws in our tired faces
Awake from this slumber of the intellect
The time has come to open our dreams
Live a life, free and fulfilling, of our own
Yea, the Silence can be heard definitely
For it will be the sweet music of the Soul
