A Vision

I only need the vision of truth
To guide my ways in this world
How many times have I fallen?
To keep coming back to life
How many deaths do I die?
To redeem my place
Reclaim my existence
I am alone and unafraid
Without a second thought
This is not something I chose
Nor some dream to forsake
Every bit is as real as it gets
And yet, the choices hurt
Even if there are no choices
In the life I was offered
What is sanity, who is insane?
What differences are stated?
Everything is relative here
When my truth is your lie
How can I be you, or you me?
This mind is what imprisons
Impinges upon the soul
To take reality for what it is
Never to know the truth
Nor the light that shines on
In this life, for all the games
Every situation enacted
I only need the vision of truth
