The Manifesto of a Philosopher

I am tired and I am wasted by the world telling me how to run my life according to a set of dictates designed by the senseless faction of the human populace, never to think different nor try to search for the remnants of truth left over from the war of the egos. The people around me delight in the fact that they can rule over another human being, be it in thought speech or action and by resorting to dirty games of political thievery, emotional prostitution and outright derogation. I have suffered various atrocities of the soul just by listening to the propagandists of materialism sell their pseudo knowledge, in fact forcing it upon innocent bystanders drudging along the journey of life.

I feel it is time I stood up to the blame games of society, and retaliate in my own individualistic ways against this tyranny enforced upon our feeble minds that are yet to comprehend the truth behind the mirage played day after day in the lives we lead. I cannot stand this misery of knowing that there is something wrong with the structural valuation of everything that I see and feel, to the extent of not even believing these senses that perceive the so called reality I am placed in. I know I am bound by the forces that contribute to my being a human for as long as this body survives, yet the lingering experience of a deeper meaning and an unknown presence, so much different from these senses or the body, is continually gaining strength and cannot be ignored now. This world can go on playing its games but I will no longer be part of them, for I have tasted the alternative and the thirst for truth remains ever unquenched.

If there is a presence within me, then there must undeniably be the same in others, for I do not believe in the existence of differential multiples such as you and I, but in the common persistence of a singularity irrespective of the shapes and forms that make each one of us feel estranged from the other. That one entity is the sole existence, the sum total of all relative variations in thought and experience that make up our living dimension. A singular intelligence acting through all living things to make the synchronized appearance of the universe we inhabit. And if I am able to sense and experience this innate oneness, then by the very same logic others must be able to reach the same state. Maybe it is a question of time for everyone to reach this logical state in their evolutionary journey, but then time is also a factor created by the mind. To elevate our selves from this realm of the mind is only possible by an initial period of total sensory deprivation, thereby allowing all mental processes to subside and allowing the immanent power behind them to surface.

Somehow the urge of leading a social life is quietly dying off within me, and is being replaced by a more primitive warcry of freedom from the known and habituated relics of life as we know it. The societal dictates of family and fortunes, ethical and behavioral prejudices, and a linear mode of evolution is being succinctly transformed into a raw pursuit of that which is real. Every awakening is shown to be another reason for changing the age old views that we subscribed to, about who we are and what we are here for, about why everything happens as it is now and why not differently. Such questioning may not help existing relationships, but newer more meaningful ones are brought into creation and without a rigid mindset, these can be welcomed without losing sight of the aim.

I do not fear the new, nor shall I forsake the old. It is only a matter of freeing my self from all bondages and constraints, which either blind me from approaching the unknown or keep me tied down to the known. Every pathway that is walked upon is but an acceptance of the reality without resorting to making up false worlds that are comforting to the mind, incarcerating our selves in the process. Instead every corner bravely turned in our journey is a revelation, where the mind is but only an instrument of study and the field of experimentation is our lives.

In this way I have chased fear into the hidden recesses with its tail tucked between its legs, for no more shall the tortures of the mind affect the clarity of my sacred vision. Come and face the new day, a new age of exploration into the psyche as men of freedom pick their trails into the land of the unknown. My only goal is to pursue the singularity of creation, to seek the truth behind all truths and to know that entity immanent in us all. To this endeavor, shall I surrender my life, here and hereafter.
